What is the Baby Basket?
            A non-profit volunteer organization operating for the benefit of families in "need" of additional resources. The Baby Basket offers a unique "store" containing new and used clothing for babies and toddlers upt to 4T, as well as equipment and other essential supplies.

How does the Baby Basket work?
             Eligible participants earn verification forms by utilizing educational, health and family support services listed as community service providers. Parents can redeem verifications of services completed by shopping in our "store" without the use of cash to purchase much needed supplies for their children.

Who qualifies for the program?
              Families, parents to be and pregnant teens who are need of additional resources.

Where can I earn verification forms to use in the Baby Basket store?
               At our approved Community Service Providers who have partnered with us to help families and childrens in our Community.

What items are offered in the the "store"?

               Blankets, diapers, clothing sizes newborn to 4T, gates, monitirs, strollers, play yards, toys, books, miscellaneous. Please note that store items are obtained 100% by donation and items will vary and are first come first serve. Value amounts are subject to change as well.

            10680 Prospect Lane Aurora, IN 47001 (Behind Heart House Homeless Shelter at the Dearborn County Recycling Complex. Three miles past the SIEOC building)

What are your hours?
             Friday 1pm - 4pm
(NOTE: we may be closed for holidays and during bad weather if South Dearborn Schools are closed we will also be closed) 

How can I help the Baby Basket?
              1.Serving as a volunteer in the "store", at an event, on the Board of Directors, at a fund raiser or on a committee              
              2.Making a financial donation to help purchase "store" supplies. Tax recipts are available for all donations.
              3.Sponsoring an event to benefit the Baby Basket such as: Baby shower, yard sale, raffle, ladies night out fund raiser, ect.
               4.Donating Gently used or new baby/toddler clothing (sizes newborn to 4T) cribs, strollers, highchairs, play yards, bottles ect.
