What is the Baby Basket? A non-profit volunteer organization operating for the benefit of families with young children who are in need of additional resources. The Baby Basket “store” offers new and used supplies, equipment and clothing for infants and toddlers up to sizes 4T. How does The Baby Basket work? Eligible participants earn verification forms by utilizing educational, health and family support services listed as community providers. Parents can redeem verification forms by shopping at The Baby Basket “store” for children from birth to 36 months. Who uses The Baby Basket verification forms? Blankets, diapers, cloths, cribs, high chairs, strollers, swing, play yards, gates, monitors, crib mattresses (new only) and other misc. items. How many verification forms do these items cost? Verification values for each item are subject to change. Although some items may not always be in stock, new and used items will continue to come into the store. If we do not have what you need you may request it. How can I help The Baby Basket? The Baby Basket depends on Community support. You can help by: 1-Donating gently used or new baby/toddler clothing (up to size 4T), equipment, furniture, toys and books. Tax deduction receipts are available. 2-Making a financial donation to help purchase equipment (cribs, highchairs, strollers...) and supplies (diapers, wipes...). Tax deduction receipts are available. 3- Sponsoring an event (a baby shower, yard sale, raffle...) to benefit The Baby Basket. 4-Serving as a volunteer in the organization and operation of The Baby Basket.
